Once they have been rolled they are harder to store after the cake is dismantled. Because they curl and look like a "C" when they are unrolled.  Therefore, I use the flat style. Once the cake is dismantled the diapers stack up perfectly so they can go right into the changing table to be used. I also use a center support tube in the middle of the cake. This keeps the cake from sliding around on the cardboard cake circle, without using tape or glue. I also make sure all the views of the cake look nice. Not just the front. I spend at least two hours on each of my cakes. Making sure every detail is perfect. When you purchase your gift, you can feel confident that I've put all the little extra touches on it. The bottom layer of the cake is iced with the "lil' sport" blue hooded bath towel. The edge of the towel is done in a red, white and blue stripe. It features two bears getting ready to play baseball. One is throwing the ball and the other is getting ready to hit the home run! The middle layer of the cake is iced with a red, white and blue striped receiving blanket. A red ribbon is tied around it with a small blue ribbon with the words "all star" on it. The wording is done in white lettering, with yellow stars in between. There is a pair of socks on the back of the cake. These are light blue in color with a tag that says, "all star" on the cuff.The top layer has a bright red short sleeve XL oneies. It also as the red ribbon tied around it. On one side is the mam silicone pacifier. The front of the pacifier has gold and blue stars with light blue swirls on it. I have tied it on with the "all star" ribbon. On the other side is a pair of nail clippers and the soft bite spoon. This spoon does turn white when the food is to hot. On the very front is the pair of baby shoes. The soles of the shoes are soft. These have Velcro straps. The shoe color is white with four blue stripes on each side of the shoe. A wooden look bat and baseball are stuck on the front. This is easily removed and can be put in a scrapbook. On the back of the cake is a bib. The bib is blue in color and features a teddy bear with baseball bat and ball. It says, "Play Ball". The edge of the bib is red, white and blue striped. It reverses to the same red, white and blue stripe. The bib is Velcro.At the very top is the baby baseball hat. It is solid blue, and has the words "all star" embroider on it. Behind the wording is a big red number 1. A baseball bat and ball are also embroider on the hat. The words are done in a light blue. The is bat is brown and the ball is white with red lacing.It arrives on a 12 inch cake plate with a blue lace around the edge of the cardboard cake plate. It will come wrapped in shiny blue tulle with a red coordinating bow. Same ribbon as used on the cake. A cake recipe card is also attached to the cake.
