I offer that opportunity for you to schedule a doctor’s appt or get errands done without the full commitment of full time or even part time care, although I can work with a part time care schedule as well. We are located near the 15 & 60 Fwys and a short way from the 10 Fwys, Ontario Mills & Victoria Gardens. My rates are low and include healthy breakfast, lunch, & snacks. I follow a play based curriculum to engage each child’s natural interest, curiosity, and motivation to plan settings that allow investigative learning through play. This type of play-based educational setting sets the basis for later life skills. Through play, children learn vital social and cognitive skills, as well as gross and fine motor skills. It is the caregiver’s job to enhance their explorations and support them in their discoveries while maintaining a safe and healthy environment. I have set up a play area that is easily modified to the appropriate age levels of the children there. I have a wide variety of toys to choose from but do not offer everything at once; usually we focus on daily topics which make it fun for all of us. I have been in school for the past 4 years & many of my classes focus on child development, behavior and nutrition. I have taken the summer off after finishing my AS degree for Speech Language Pathology Assistant. I will be finishing my Communicative Disorders degree at CSUF.
