Description
In the second picture below you will see the canister set I'm talking about here (with the red lettering rather than the black offered in this listing). It was a wonderful tin set made around the 1920s by Kreamer ("Kreamerware"). Some were painted cream and had red lettering, some were painted red and had cream lettering, some were yellow with black and I've even seen a coppery color. And then again many were repainted in wild colors. I once saw a set that had been repainted a Jadite green - and they even painted the Bakelite knobs! Anyway, the red paint on the cream ones sometimes wears away or runs with cleaning. Or you may have a hard time finding complete sets and find yourself piecing together a few partial sets and ending up with two Teas and no Coffee, or whatever. This decal set can help. Use it to refresh painted names or replace a painted name that is redundant. These are not scans, they are a modern typeface that was altered to match the style of the original Kreamer lettering, so they are not exact, but they are close. While I was at it, I added "Cake" and "Bread". You'll see my vintage Kreamer cake plate in this photo. It had some horrid olive green paint on it when I bought it, but it did have the gorgeous red knobs, so I repainted it cream to match my canister set and added the CAKE decal. The canister set you see pictured also has a mixture of the original painted labels and my replacement decals. You can probably tell which are which, but you will also be able to see how nicely they work together.See our About Me page for information and FAQ about our decals.Email us at office@sweetgaldecals.com Vintage decal designs are used by permission of the original manufacturer(s).Modern artwork used by permission or under license from the artist(s).Protected by copyright; all rights reserved.   Winning bidder, I am happy to ship by whatever method will offer you the best deal and to combine multiple auction purchases where possible.
