There are 126 different fabrics on the top with no repetitions. The back is made from 2 different fabrics which also make a pleasing design. The quilt is 36 x 42 inches. There is no batting in this quilt but the pieces of flannel are small so there are a lot of raggy seams. That gives it extra weight without the batting. I have made quite a few of these quilts to give as gifts. They are always the most popular gift at the baby shower. The one that gets all the OOOH's and AAAH's.
