Dreamton Organic Cotton/Wool Wrapped Chemical Free Toddler Mattress The Dreamton is a White Lotus original. Our Non-borate chemical free mattresses start with 100% organic cotton through and through.The casing/ticking is 100% organic cotton and the cotton fibers used for filling are 100% organic cotton and free of fire retardants. The Dreamton is just as supportive as our standard mattresses, but has the added dreaminess of wool all around it. We place a 1 inch layer of wool on the outer most layer of cotton. This wool wrap eliminates the need for borate powder, as wool is a natural fire retardant. This wool wrapped cotton mattress offers a natural and safe sleeping package. A natural sleeping surface, longer resilience, natural dust mite repellent, temperature control and more. White Lotus crib mattresses are made differently than any other toddler mattress you can buy. We have worked for years on making a product that is both safe and natural for your child. We believe that cotton is the greatest sleeping surface any amount of money can buy.Our mattresses are layered - one layer at a time - by hand. We hand-quilt our mattresses with a thin, sharp needle to ensure that the batting won't break, shift or lump. Our standard cotton mattresses are stuffed with 8-10 layers of cotton that start out at about 2-3 inches in thickness each. We then compress the cotton into a 6 inch case in order to be able to handcraft a longer lasting cotton mattress for you. There really is no finer mattress. Our toddler mattress fits in a crib frame for a softer nights sleep before your child is ready to move to an adult sized bed. These mattresses work great on platform beds, and can be used on top of a box spring and on bi-fold futon frames.
