This mattress is 6" thick, made with organic cotton and natural chemical free wool and quilted to organic cotton mattress ticking for natural flame retardancy. Ecobaby meets the new regulations for flame retardancy set by California using only natural fibers and NO chemicals. Most companies do not. The wool layer is from organically raised sheep-it’s free of any poly fibers (the only in the organic industry).
