This car seat has the LATCH system and a secure 5-point harness system. The seat/base have never been in a car accident. The SnugRide Central Park has the GracoPedic™ foam feature for luxurious comfort. The seat comes with an all-weather "boot" with attached blanket for extra warmth, a double infant head support system and shoulder (strap) pads for your little one (we had preemies and it was GREAT!). The manual is also included - pictured with the base.  It also has the "Locking Plate" included - and an extra. The fabric style is Central Park, which is a very nice black and white check with toile accents - perfect for boy or girl. It is part of the Graco BabyClassics collection and is now discontinued. One picture shows a few white-ish marks on the back of the canopy.  They do not effect the performance at all and are more apparent in the picture than in real life.  For parents who are proud owners of the Graco DuoGlider LXI Double Stroller, the SnugRide is a perfect choice. The two are compatible and form a great travel system - you can even use two SnugRides with this stroller, if you had twins like we did! From a smoke free home and car. Consumer Reports tested several car seats over the speed at which the normal tests are conducted and the Graco SnugRide was still one of the 3 best performing seats included..beating out the SafeSeat and Britax seats...the test was redone at the normal speeds.  I thought it was nice to know that even at higher speeds we were safe.
