The yarn was purchased from England. It is made of about 6 skeins of yarn and measures around 48 to 49 inches square. It has tiny white satin ribbon woven above where the lacy edge starts and it criss crosses in the center, towards the 4 corners. Where the ribbons meet there are bows tied at the corners. Several weeks went into making this piece. I have included one picture where it is draped over the back of a chair, before the ribbon was added just to give you a better look at the overall  design. It would be the perfect item for a christening or special occasion when showing off that new baby. It can be handed down as a family heirloom for the next generations. Made in a smoke free home.
