It is a quality toy and has cute character worms popping out of it! They have wide eyes with smiles to match and little taggies on their heads. One is stripey and the other one dotty. Both have teething rings on their bodies which rattle when the toy is shaken. Another larger teether is attached for chewing on, plus a hidden rattle, these are both at the bottom of the worms. There are different fabrics used to make up the body of the apple, furry, corduroy and a smooth satin type material with polka dots on. There is a green leaf at the top which contains a surprise, press this leaf and the apple giggles! Babies will be delighted with this recent addition to the Manhattan Toy range. There is a velcro strap so that the apple can be strapped to a pushchair or car seat for baby to play with hands free. This is a lovely toy of very good quality and most unusual, if you are looking for something different - this is it! Giggle Smith Apple is large, measuring approximately 33 cm including the protruding worms, the apple alone is 17 cm. The worms are great fun and slide up and down the toy when pulled by baby but as they are unable to come out completely, they won't get lost. This fun toy comes complete with its tags and is suitable for babies from the age of six months.
