It is made out of wood and has been hand-painted with non-toxic acrylic paints. The top and bottom edging is in a beige color to suit any nursery decor. There is a great amount of painted detail, please feel free to check out the pictures below. This box is wonderful for holding precious keepsakes, or even winter blankets, and makes a lovely and functional piece of furniture. The actual box dimensions are 21 inches long, 10 inches wide, and 10 inches deep. There is a decorative edge on the bottom that adds an extra inch all the way around.
