Description Pali Matisse convertible crib cognac with toddler rail! Pali Matisse convertible crib Up for auction is a beautiful italian-made convertible crib by Pali.   The model is Matisse, the color is cognac.   This crib converts from a 3-position crib to a toddler bed, then can also become a full headboard.   Included is the bed, crib rail, toddler rail (this had to be purchased separately), spring frame, storage drawer, and mattress.   All pieces are of italian hardwood, with the exception of the drawer bottom - it appears to be a particle board. The Matisse model is a beautiful crib, with arched vertical slats on the back that connect to the arched horizontal rail.   There's a curve to the side rails as well, and the frame is on casters.   The mattress is a Sealy Baby Soft Premium - it was the top-of-the-line when it was purchased. The bed is in very good used condition, with some minor (expected) blemishes from normal wear.   There are no marks on the front crib rail - my daughter wasn't one to chew on the rails!   The only scratches that are really noticeable are on the back of the crib, where we had a mobile that went between the slats.   The pressure-mount screwed in and made some circular scratches in the finish (A stain stick would probably take care of these).   The toddler rail did have to be repaired once, when a pin came loose, but is fine now. This is an heirloom-quality crib, with many, many years left in it.   We bought 'The Best'  with the intent to have it for our daughter for a long time, but limited space and a second child changed our plans!   I wish we could keep it, but we don't have room to store it.   But, I don't want to see it go to waste either, so away it must go to a new home with a new little prince or princess! price when purchased: crib $500, mattress $90, toddler rail $125 Sorry, no shipping.   Crib must be picked up in Altadena, CA.   If you want to meet somewhere or have it delivered, you MUST contact me before the close of the auction to arrange it - I'm sure neither of us wants a surprise after the auction has ended.   (Travel charges may apply.)   I accept and prefer PayPal, however I will accept Money Orders.
