It still works great. The manufacturer suggests that you buy the pads, which you soak in water and then put at the bottom to keep the wipes moist. These pads are not included, so if you want to use them, you must purchase seperately. You can use it with out the pads, but your wipes on the bottom will dry out. I found it was less expensive to throw away a few dry wipes, than to buy a package of the pads that they recommend. Of course this is entirely up to you!
