My oldest daughter is four and many of her friends have started moving to booster seats. I wasn't ready for that step, but most car seats at 40 pounds become belt positioning boosters that you must use a seat belt with. I recieved an e-mail with a video clip from a heart broken mother who had lost her son, Kyle, in a roll over crash when a seat belt failed and he was ejected from the vehicle. She wrote about a car seat that allowed parents to keep their children in a five point harness up to 80 pounds, and in a note she wrote she mentioned the Radian 80. I just put both of my girls into this car seat, and I am very impressed with the consturction and features of this seat. It is a seat that will grow with them for many years.
