I am finally letting go of some things in order to raise money for a much-needed "Mommy's Vacation Weekend!" Let me tell you the background on this rocking chair: When we were pregnant with our first child, my grandmother bought this brand new. (It did not come with the gliding ottoman.) After the baby was born, I was suprised at how little I used it. I can only think of a handful of times we actually sat in it. Yet, we felt guilty getting rid of it because it was a gift from them. So here we are, 5 years later, and I am finally comfortable with getting rid of it. It has a sort of oak finished wood. The cushions are a pine green (you can see the color & pattern in the closeup pic) And they are in excellent condition. There is only one flaw regarding this chair: There are little wood plugs that cover the holes where the screws are. one or two of these have popped out. Also, one of the screws in the arm rest is missing -- I can only imagine this has happened sometime during the two times we moved from place-to-place. At any rate, this would be a simple fix. I believe you can also buy replacement wood hole plugs. You are welcome to come look at it in person. Just e-mail me to set up a time.
