The fabrics in this listing are all special in some way. They have embroidery, embellishments, eyelets, and are made from some of the finest silks, brocades, and softest cottons available. This is a cover you will use over and over and the quality will hold. You will NEVER see a cheap quilting fabric in my listing. Handmade lovingly by me in my home, I take time to be certain that each detail is attended to. I use care to select the fabrics that are not only beautiful and fun, but that are practical. I do not “mass produce”; each item is unique, but all are created with the care I would use as if they were for my own children. Another difference is the neckline. The Zoey Luna cover can adjust in two ways: First you can adjust where the cover will sit on your torso, meaning close to your chin or further down near your chest. The Zoey Luna is unique in that you can also adjust how much of a viewing window you would like. You can shorten the boning in the top to really make it pop out or you can lay it flat against your chest for complete privacy. All of this adjusting will take you about one second because it is done with velcro... and is super strong to withhold your baby's need to tug!!!! Velcro is way easier to use than a D-Ring because any baby over about 8 weeks old can tug hard enough to pull off a D-ring hold.. plus you need to re-adjust the D-ring every time you use your cover... try doing that one handed with a crying hungry baby... not fun! I do make sure that each nursing cover is big enough to really do the job and measure at least 33 inches wide by 24 inches long. Many of the covers you see on ebay are cheap quilting fabrics that someone has put four stitches into. I take great care to sew a quality fabric and pay attention to the small details. All hems are tucked and each cover tends to have its own unique features. They are all made with a special type of boning that creates a stiffer neckline. I also sew in a LARGE weave cloth pocket and create a matching bag to hold it all together. Another thing to consider if you do decide to purchase this cover or any other is to be aware of how the neck is held up. Many home made covers are not adjustable. They sew in one ribbon on both sides to hold up the cover, or worse... they sew in a D clip such as those used on a belt. Any baby over about 8 weeks old can tug hard enough to pull that off plus you need to re-adjust it every time you use your cover... try doing that one handed with a crying hungry baby... not fun!
